Native VML Takes Home Coveted Book Marks Agency Of The Year

NATIVE VML took home the Agency of the Year award at the annual IAB Bookmarks that took place on 03 March 2016 at the Turbine Hall, Newtown. Now in its eighth year, the Bookmarks received a record number of entries that represented the diversity, innovation and growth of digital in South Africa.

"When we started NATIVE five years ago, it was with the intention of creating a new kind of agency – an agency whose ideas would be born digital but would extend beyond the digital canvas. Our success at the Bookmarks this year is particularly gratifying because the work that was recognised spans the full spectrum from large platform builds all the way through to creative, through-the-line campaigns,” says Jason Xenopoulos, CEO NATIVE VML.

The 2016 Bookmarks was a defining moment for NATIVE VML, winning22 awards in total including two Gold awards for Twitter Refugeesand BMW i3 Talking Car. The agency, in addition, was awarded 10 Silver, eight Bronze and twoSpecial Honour pixels, where NATIVE VML’s Account Director, Gia Berger was credited for Excellence in Client Service.
