Adamawa PLD Lauds PMB For Appointing Dr. Ankeli As His SSA

Mr. Abubakar Hosere, state Chairman , National Association of Persons Living with Disability has commended President Muhammad Buhari for appointing one of their member as Senior Special Assistant.

Recalled that the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu announced the appointment of Dr. Samuel Ankeli as SSA to Mr President on dealing with persons Living with disability.

Hosere said the development was first of its kind and would go along way in solving much problems affecting the members nationwide .

According to the chairman, the appointment did not come to them as surprise considering the Foresight and good intention of President Buhari to the people of Nigeria.

We are highly appreciated with the appointment of Dr. Samuel Ankeli by President Buhari as his Senior Special Assistant for persons living with disability's matters.

"The development is the first of its kind so far .in the history of Nigeria " Hosere said.

He appealed to the 36 state government's to emulate President Buhari's gesture in appointing the member of the Union and establishing the commissions and agencies for persons living with disability in their respective States.

Hosere said that agencies if established would be responsible in dealing with the members of the association.

He thanked the wife of Adamawa Governor. Mrs Aisha Jibrillah for donating 100 wheelchairs to the members in the state.
