APC National Treasurer Mourns Hajiya Ganduje, Kano State Governor's Mother

The National Treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Bala Mohammed Gwagwarwa on Friday mourned the death of the mother of the Kano state governor, Hajiya Fatima Umar Ganduje.

He described her passage as a monumental loss.
In a condolence message, Gwagwarwa stated that the late Hajiya Fatima Umar Ganduje who died at the ripe age of 95 years in Ganduje town, Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano state, lived an exemplary and accomplished life.

Gwagwarwa said he received the news of the passage with great sense of sadness. He noted that the late Hajiya Fatima Umar Ganduje will be remembered for her honesty, fairness, generosity and service to God and humanity.

"The life story of the late Hajiya Fatima Umar Ganduje testifies to the excellent quality of her children. It is not surprising that her children, Alhaji Sama'ila Umar, the Madaki of Ganduje, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Kano state governor, Alhaji Hussaini Umar Ganduje, the Executive Secretary of Kano State Teachers Board among others are true chips of the old block." the APC National Treasurer said in the statement.

Gwagwarwa said the late Hajiya Fatima Umar Ganduje will be sorely missed by the people of Kano state especially Ganduje town, Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano where she will be remembered for her selfless community development efforts.

While extending his condolences to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi ll; immediate-past Kano state governor and serving Senator, Mohammed Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; government and people of Kano state, Gwagwarwa prayed to Almighty Allah to grant her immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
