BEVERLY HILLS, March 03, (THEWILL) – Could it be possible that we might witness an exodus of Americans to Canada following Donald Trump possible win at the presidential polls?

The phrase “how to move to Canada” began trending on Google after the controversial GOP candidate won seven states in the Tuesday primaries in the race for the White House.

The states include: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Virginia, Arkansas and Vermont.

According to Google data editor Simon Rogers, searches for the phrase increased 350 percent but by midnight, the number had jumped to 1,500 percent, according to Google Trends.

However, Trump must clinch the Republican Nomination and see off competition from either Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton of the Democratic Party before he can assume the position of the President of the United States.

Trump's meteoric push to clinching the nomination has somewhat baffled observers and political analysts alike as his candidature was earlier discarded given his frequent outbursts and misogynistic remarks which have threatened to derail his campaign.

However, Trump has continued to trash the other GOP contenders, even, leading to erstwhile hopeful, Jeb Bush, abandoning the race.

Trump currently leads on the primaries and there are speculations that the Republicans may ‘gang-up’ against his nomination.
