FUPRE Student Caught At DELSU Impersonating

The management of the Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka, has apprehended an impostor, a student of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, Mr. Inneh Aisosa, while writing examination for a 400-level student of DELSU, one Onakpoma Oghenetega.

Aisosa, a Mechanical Engineering student of FUPRE with matriculation number 0452/2010 was caught in the act on February 23 at Abraka, according to the management of DELSU.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of DELSU, Mr. Eddy Aghure explained that the suspect came into the university with a Toyota Camry marked ABH 417 GW to write the exam for his client, Oghenetega with matriculation number FOS/12/13/212931.

According to Aghure, the suspect was nabbed by members of DELSU Examination Monitoring Group in collaboration with invigilators.

Aghure said: “With this development, it is obvious that some of our unserious-minded students have introduced new tactics to perpetrate examination malpractice”.

“While the law abiding and committed students of the university are busy reading very hard for their examinations, the lazy ones are busy engaging mercenaries from within and outside the university to write examinations for them with the sole aim of getting good grades. This is totally unacceptable and management of the university will not relax in the relentless was against this academic fraud”.

While appreciating the efforts of hard working students, the DELSU spokesman insisted that the criminally minded ones would not go unpunished, maintaining that the war against examination malpractice was a collective fight.
