By Daniel Omaga

Following the recent massacre and subsequent displacement of innocent and helpless Nigerians in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State by fulani herdsmen, the Beyond Boundaries Legacy Leadership Initiative (BBLLI) is seeking for donations of relief items from well meaning Individuals, donor agencies, corporate organizations and the public to ameliorate the sufferings of the victims.

In a press statement signed by the Executive Director of the organization, Comrade Omaga E. Daniel, the organization described the renewed attack by the marauders as "man's inhumanity against man, a barbaric act which must be condemned and nipped in the mud to forestall any future occurence".

"Our organization is also calling on President Muhammad Buhari, governor of Benue and Nasarawa states and ‎all relevant stake holders to painstakingly investigate this issue and bring the perpetrators to justice" he said.

The organization noted that the call for donations was timely based on the reality on ground. According to a report from the monitoring and evaluation team of the organization led by Onuya Anthony Yusuf, over 20, 000 victims have been displaced, 25 communities destroyed and over 1000 lives have been lost so far.
