Hello March!
It is Women’s Month and DStv will be serving some great entertainment for women and the rest of the whole family. Throughout Women’s Month Studio Universal will make Wednesday evenings one to look forward to for the ladies, with a selection of entertaining and riveting movies from ‘Hollywood Royalty, Denzel Washington.Starting on Wednesday, 2 March at 7pm, Denzel Washington stars as quadriplegic ex-homicide detective Lincoln Rhyme in this tense crime thriller, The Bone Collector.

A sadistic serial killer is terrorising New York City, so the bed-bound Rhyme enliststhe somewhat reluctant help of beat cop Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie) to work the crime scenes in order to find evidence and stop the perpetrator before he strikes again. Queen Latifah and Michael Rooker also star.

On Food Network, another season of equally delicious and thrilling recipes awaits those with the stomach for the Chopped challenge. New season of Chopped premieres on Wednesday, 2 March at 7pm. Meanwhile, Tia Mowry kicks off a captivating series of delightful food and big laughs, all whilst revealing her extraordinary cooking expertise on Tia Mowry At Home. Alongside her loving family and friends, Tia cooks up a storm as she prepares a range of exciting recipes, starting off with a slow-cooked beef and lentil stew. This series premieres on Thursday, 3 March at 8pm.

Lovers of mystery and suspense have to keep a date with IDx, DStv channel 171, for Your Worst Nightmare on Tuesday, 1 March at 9pm. With spine-tingling stories, cinematic recreations and tense first-person interviews, Your Worst Nightmare returns with more unique stories that will have audience's hearts racing through every act.

Finally, a contemporary interpretation of John le Carré’s espionage novel, The Night Manager will air on AMC every Monday at 7pm. The series follow former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) who is recruited by an intelligence operative to infiltrate the inner circle of international businessman Richard OnslowRoper (Hugh Laurie) and expose the unholy alliance he has ministered between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. In his quest to do the right thing, Pine must first become a criminal himself.
