#clapback Season! All The Deets On The Spat Between Wizkid & Praiz Vs. Linda Ikeji

BEVERLY HILLS, February 25, (THEWILL) – 2016 is turning out to be a #Clapback season for many of our entertainers right here in Nigeria. Gone are the days when they chose to look the other way on perceived insults and the like both on social media and otherwise.

Worse still, they aren't afraid to come after co-celebrities who might have slighted them. Fans nowadays are willing to observe these “fights” with glee and even throw start supporters club.

January was lit and February wasn't half as bad in terms of social media drama. March is beginning to look even better thanks to the ongoing spat between blogger Linda Ikeji, and singers Wizkid and Praiz.

It's no longer news that there's no love lost between Wiz and Linda thanks to her erroneous post about the pop star last year where she reported that he had fleeced the management of American University, Yola of the sum of N8m when he failed to show for a booked performance (The school's management denied the story).

Early this year, the blogger also broke news of Wizkid impregnating another lady (not Tania) who delivered a baby boy named after him. A tale he's yet to acknowledge or deny. It is understandable that these tales are perhaps what pushed Wizkid to take a swipe at Linda after Hermes Birkin bag drama last week.

He also went on snap chat where he comenetd on an op-ed written by a Lagos lawyer, Olajid Akionla who described the blogger as “suffering from poverty mentality”. Wizkid posted …

Perhaps in retaliation, Linda shaded Wizkid in her post about The Game standing up for his baby mama against internet trolls. She titled the post “When Your Baby Daddy Is Not A 'Deadbeat'…” To conclude the post, she wrote “The Game swiftly responded, (unlike a deadbeat father who hasn't started to cater for his child)”. Now for those who don't know, Wizkid has been accused of not taking up responsibilities for his newborn son, hence Linda's shade.

Interestingly, Wizkid isn't the only one with a grudge with Linda. X3M music act, Praiz has also called the blogger out.

Apparently, the singer landed a major feat recently as Governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton declared February 6, 2016 Praise Adejo Day in the state on Minnesota.
