Rivers PDP Chairman, Obuah Commiserates With Ogbunabali Fire Victims

The chairman of the Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah sympathizes with all those who lost their properties and other valuables as well as casualties in the afternoon hours of Tuesday, February 16, 2016, inferno that engulfed the Ogbuga area of Ogbunabali Community in Port Harcourt.

The PDP boss regrets that such disaster is happening at such an austre period when citizens are grappling with the present All Progressives Congress, APC, Federal Government harsh economic policies, describing it as unfortunate.

He however regretted over reported case of some casualties in the fire incident.

Stressing that certain natural disasters could be avoided, the State PDP boss appealed to residents and landlords to consider safety first in positioning their houses and shops, regretting that people no longer care about the way highly inflammables like fuel, explosives, and electrical appliances are handled and stored which has often led to avoidable fire incidents.

He enjoined them to remain peaceful, supportive and steadfast in their trust in the Wike administration for the overall welfare of the Rivers people and development of the State.
