A Yola Based Journalist Drags Atiku's Firm Over Breach Of Contract

A journalist in Yola Adamawa state capital,Kabiru Hussaini Gwangwazo, dragged TV Gotel to court, a communication firm owned by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, before an Adamawa High Court demanding the compensation of N27 million over non payment of a contract he executed for the Television outfit.

The plaintiff, noted that the television outfit has refused to pay him the said amount for a contract of procurement of broadcasting rights for Hausa films and musical which he executed since 2011.

He noted that filing the suit has become expedient in view of the fact that the communications outfit remained complacent to effect the payment for the contract over the years.

After hearing the arguments of the counsels of the two sides the presiding judge, Justice Helen Nuhu adjourned the case to the 23rd, February, 2011 for further mention.
