Anambra State has maintained its lead as the Safest State in Nigeria and the number one in payment of workers’ salaries amidst the prevailing economic crisis.

The reason is not far-fetched; foresight of Gov Willie Obiano and the government’s success in internally generated revenue drives resulting to a sharp increase in IGR from N500m to about N1.3m monthly.

To maintain this status, effective signage and efficiency of the agency responsible for its use and control will play a vital part especially in the area relevant tax collection and similar revenue drives.
