Gulak's Claim As PDP National Chairman, A Joke ......Group

The Isoko Vanguard For Change, a Pressure Group has described as funny and a huge joke the claim made by Ahmed Gulak, as National Chairman of the Party.

Spokesman of the group, Ekomoko Gilead Omoh who spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital said, what every reasonable member of PDP expects at present was for the party to set up a machinery of electing a National Chairman as stipulated in the party's constitution to fill the vacant position of PDP National Chairman.

According to him, 'I recognize the fact that Gulak won a court matter according the North East the right to produce the Party Chairman based on the party's zoning arrangement'.

He said, 'that it does not automatically make Gulak National Chairman of the Party by fiat because such expression of unguided ambition is not acceptable'.

'We don't recognize him as my Party Chairman and will not hesitate to drag him to a competent Court of Law to prove our point.' The group said, adding that Gulak's claim is too childish and quite unacceptable for the Party acclaimed to be the biggest party in Africa.

The group advised Gulak not to make PDP Chairmanship position a laughing stock but to rather get set and pass through the electoral process that produces chairman of the party.
