Commencement of UNMISS Weekly Press Briefings

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) will be launching the start of its weekly press briefings bought to you by the Spokesperson and Media Relations Unit.

The briefing will cover a number of issues and serve to inform and bring you up to date on what the mission has been up to on a weekly basis. Occasionally the Spokesperson will be joined by guest speakers of the mission who will brief on other areas of the mission's work.

UNMISS will provide transportation for the invited journalists to the press briefing and back to town after the event as follows:

Bus 1: departing from UNMISS Main Gate — Tomping —departure time 09:00am

Bus 2: departing from Juba University — Juba Town — 09:00am
