Pregnant woman, 22, raped to death in Kano

Another tragedy struck in Kano as 22-year-old house wife, Aisha Abdullahi, was raped to death by unknown persons at her matrimonial home at Ungogo quarters, in the outskirt of Kano municipal.

The incident was similar to the one recorded at Unguwar Katsina of Ungogo local government last December and was confirmed by the Police spokesman in Kano, DSP Musa Magaji Majia.

According to the police, the tragic incident was reported to the police by the husband of the late woman, Abdullahi Muhammad, who told the police that he met the deceased in the pool of her blood when he returned home from the day's business.

Already, Majia said that detectives have swung action with a view to unraveling those behind the dastardly act, and assured that no stone would be left unturned.

The said rape incident brings the number to about 10 cases which are officially known to the police. It would be recalled that few weeks back, one Khadija Muhammad of Ja'in quarters was also killed at her home.

Already, two suspects, Nura and Haruna are in Court facing charges in respect of Khadija Muhammad's death.
