Faan Set To Construct New Head Office

BEVERLY HILLS, January 13, (THEWILL) – The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has initiated the process of the construction of a befitting corporate headquarters.

The process commenced with the invitation for competent and reputable companies to submit Expression of Interest (EOI), for the design and supervision of the construction of a new corporate headquarters for the organisation.

Yakubu Dati, spokesman for FAAN, in a statement, said that the project, which was advertised in several national newspapers, would be funded through the authority's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) budget for the year 2016.

According to him, submission of “Expression of Interest” for this project would close at exactly 11:30am on Monday, February 29, 2016.

Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transport, had last month directed the management FAAN to erect an appropriate and befitting headquarters within the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos for itself.

Amaechi, accompanied by Hadi Sirika, minister of state for aviation and some key management staff of the agency, gave the directive at the FAAN's headquarters.
