BEVERLY HILLS, January 12, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has not withdrawn the proposed 2016 Budget, which he presented to a joint session of the National Assembly on December 22, 2015, the President's spokesman, Garba Shehu has said in multiple tweets.

Garba's reaction followed claims of the disappearance of the budget document as announced by the Senate Leader, Senator Ali Ndume during the closed door session that lasted 90 minutes, according to widely published news reports.

THEWILL can report that there have been speculations that the President withdrew the proposed N6.08trn budget document from the federal Parliament about two weeks after it was presented.
