SAN FRANCISCO, January 10, (THEWILL) – Turkish Airlines has again arrived Nigeria without passengers' luggage, two weeks after the same situation caused a roar at the Abuja international airport.

Saleh Dunoma, Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has advised the airline to resolve the recurrent cases of carrying passengers without their luggage or face dire consequences.

Dunoma, who spoke at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja also expressed the displeasure of the transport minister to the management of Turkish Airlines.

Dunoma described the latest as unacceptable especially being a re-occurrence of a similar incident that led to a breach in airport security two weeks ago.

He called for quick and lasting resolution to the act which he said was capable of disrupting the peace and harmony of the airport.

He however appealed to the passengers to remain calm and law abiding as the authority was making frantic efforts to find a lasting solution and safeguard their rights.

THEWILL recalls that the first scenario, where passengers invaded the tarmac over the issue, led to the sack of three officials at the airport.
