Ramon Adedoyin Is God’s Greatest Gift To Ife In This Generation Says Sola Ehindero

A University don, Prof Sola Ehindero has described the Maye of Ife, Prince (Dr) Ramon Adedoyin as God’s greatest gift to Ife in this generation.

Prof Ehindero who was speaking at the event to celebrate the 59th birthday anniversary of Dr Adedoyin held at Maye Castle,ile ife on the New Year day, challenged anyone to name any Ife son dead or alive as at the first of January 2016, who has Adedoyin’s records in Ife.

Going back history lane to when the celebrant was his student at the then University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, the varsity don described Adedoyin as a brilliant scholar who was able to achieve so much by the dint of hard work and tireless doggedness.

Other guests at the event including the past Commissioner for Information, State of Osun, Prince Sikiru Ayedun also showered encomiums on this great Ife prince.

They described him as a distinguished educationist, and notable business mogul, who could be best described as a role model worthy of being emulated by many Nigerians.

They commended him as one of the foremost educationists in Nigeria whose singular effort has contributed immensely in providing Nigerians especially the youths with solid education which is indispensable for social and economic empowerment.

Adedoyin was described also a man of creative ingenuity, great vision, managerial acumen, indefatigable spirit, irrepressible courage whose astute business initiatives have made him a success in every sphere of his life.

Dr Ramon Adegoke Atobatele Adedoyin was born on the first day of the year in 1957 in Ile-Ife, Osun State to two royal families in ife kingdom.

In the field of community development, Chief Adedoyin has made monumental contributions to the development of Ile- Ife community in particular and the society in general. He is a great philanthropist who has been giving scholarship awards to outstanding students especially those from indigent background.

He has made appreciable donations to charity services; he has contributed a lot to the upliftment of the dignity of life and moral values. He is a great defender of humanity, a vanguard of peace, order, justice and equity.

It was in recognition of his gallantly that he was conferred with the chieftaincy titles of Balogun of Parakin Eleyele Community, Ile-Ife and Maye of Ife by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the late Ooni of Ife.

In recognition of his outstanding and tremendous contributions to community development and the Nigerian project, he was also honoured by the Ife Central Local Government through the naming of the popular NITEL Rd as Dr. Ramon Adedoyin way. The Ife Development Board also bestowed on him ‘The Best Ife Son’ Award during a Ife Day celebrations.

A well-travelled man with chains of businesses and investments in Ile-Ife, Lagos, Abuja and the United States of America. He has three Universities and two polytechnics to his credit in ife,accra and delaware, usa among which are Oduduwa University,Ipetumodu, Ile ife ,The Polytechnic,ile Ife. Oduduwa Polytechnic,Idimu.

Prince R.A Adedoyin is a complete detribalised Nigeria, a paragon of Pan- Nigerian which is evident in his recruitment of workers in his various establishments.

Dr Adedoyin is no less a success. He is happily married to a devoted wife; Chief (Mrs.) Iyabo Adedoyin and they are blessed with wonderful children.

At his leisure, he plays Table-Tennis, discusses Politics and loves dancing.
