Aasu Awards 2015

In line with the Annual Africa Education and Leadership Award of the All - Africa Students Union, the union wishes to announce the awardees per merit, for the year 2015. Sixteen Awards in four (4) categories were conferred:

I. PLATINUM AWARDS CATEGORY
1. Pan Africanist of the Year - H.E. Kenneth Kaunda( Zambia)

2. Africa President of the Year - H.E. Macky Sall (Senegal)

3. Africa Most Supportive Government of the Year - Government of Government (Ghana)

4. Africa Vice Chancellor of the Year - Prof. Adam Hibib (South Africa)

5. Africa Student Activist of the Year - Nadjo Kaina ( Chad)

II. GOLD AWARDS CATEGORY
6. Africa Educational Support Organization of the Year - European Union Commission

6. Africa Research Organization of the Year - Association of Africa Universities

7. Science and Culture Personality of the Year - H.E. Kofi Annan

8. Africa National Student Union of the Year - Uganda National Students Association

III. SILVER AWARDS
9. AASU Alumni of the Year - Drame Soucountoug (Senegal)

10. Most Supportive National Student Organization - General Sudanese Students Union

11. Africa Most Innovative Student - Anesi Ikhianosime (Nigeria)

12. Africa Most Innovative Student Leader - Aber Lillian (Uganda)

13. Africa Most Vibrant Student Union of the Year - South Africa Students Congress

IV. HONORARY AWARDS
14. H.E. Pavelin Tendai Musaka , Zimbabwe Ambassador to Ghana - Continual Support to the AASU

15. Prof. Peter Okebukola (Nigeria) - Continual Support to the AASU

16. Joseph Adjei (Ghana) Longest Serving Staff of AASU
