I Have Never Played Cheap Roles in My Life...Actress, Sonia Ogiri

For some stars who have made it through the Nollywood industry, their first kind of roles will always be a 'waka pass' role which will help them learn from those playing lead roles.

But actress cum musician, Sonia Ogiri, while delving into the make belief industry seems to have been fortunate not to have had the experience of acting the 'waka pass' role but a lead role.

Recalling her first experience in the movie 'Royal Game,' she stated that it gave her the avenue to learn the rudiments of the craft.

“It was really an experience oh… a very good feeling doing what you have always wished for. Funny enough, I have never played a 'waka pass' role before. My first role was fantastic and would like to thank Guniks Movies for the opportunity because it made me a better person and the director was very helpful in teaching me the rudiments. It was a dream come through and I must say it has continued to inspire my work ever since,” she told Leadership.
