The Barrister George Turnah Youth Initiative (GTYI), Sunday, condemned the abduction of Ms. Nancy Keme Dickson, younger sister of Governor Seriake Dickson, in Yenagoa by armed gunmen. She was abducted at her shop in Okaka, a suburb of Yenagoa.

The Coordinator of George Turnah Youth Initiative Comrad. Kokobaiye Abeki in a press statement issued in Yenagoa condemned the evil act in its entirety and called on the Police and other security agencies to carry out thorough investigation to fish out the culprits behind the dastardly act.

The GTYI described the abduction as being politically motivated, also accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for masterminding it to spite and distract the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its flag-bearer in the January 9 supplementary governorship election in the state.

The GTYI maintained that no amount of intimidation, blackmail and orchestration of violence in the state would ruffle the the determination of the PDP Campaign Organization towards ensuring outright victory for the party come January 9, 2016.
