Army Killed 7 At Islamic Center Before We Blocked Them From Returning For Second Massacre – Victim Speaks

Victim of massacre at Islamic movement center in Zaria has interview with Naija.Live and describes the incident from their account.

According to him the army first attacked the Hussainiyah Islamic Center killing 7 members before they were chased by the members. Upon their return a second time was when a video released captured armed Shia Muslims denying them pass; saying they will stop them from coming to complete the massacre of their people.

It was after this according to the account that the violent confrontation ensued and the army mowed them down from the point on Sokoto road to the Islamic Center using grenades and other fire arms and then also went that night to the leader Sheikh Zakzaki's house around 11pm that night.

Over 200 were killed.
