Adamawa State University Community Lied Against Zaruwa-Investigations
Dr Moses Zaruwa, one of the pioneer lecturer in ADSU first became an acting VC when Prof. Alkassim Abba’s tenure ended.
Zaruwa, who was the then DVC academics acted as the administrator of the university between September and November 2014.
The Young acting VC handed over to then Prof. David shall on 4 November 2014 and since Prof. shall run the university till Nov 6 2015 when he finally received the nock from his employer the state government.
Our investigation reveals that Dr. Zaruwa’ three months leadership was interrupted by insurgents attacks as he also handed over in the wake of the attack.
There was no time for him to indulge into some of the unscrupulous activities as leveled against him.

Contacting Mr Obida Njira, principal of the collage, he said that though insurgency has destroyed some of our records but I have not heard or stumbled on any document indicating that Dr. Zaruwa embezzled money here. I have being at the helm of the affairs here for the past one year but I haven’t heard
any case of corruption against Dr. Zaruwa In fact I have not had any record to that effect.
Deacon Yusuf Dauda the immediate successor at the Baptist high school Vintim also said that such thing did not happen in the collage.

The team of journalist visited Bazza community, in Michika local government area the home of the acting VC, we found out that it was an old three rooms belonging to his father RSM Zira Zaruwa (rtd) who relocates to Jos due to the invasion of theinsurgency.
The other things we found within the premises were foundation of a four bedroom duplex, four trips of sand, trip of gravel, some iron roads, a heap of burn bricks which has been there for some years.
Findings reveals that Zaruwa is still residing in a three bedroom bungalow at the
university staff quarters.
