DIAMOND BANK, OTHERS SPONSOR AIRE'S NIGERIA'S PRIDE

As part of their contributions towards attracting direct foreign investment into the country and promoting its untapped mineral resources to the outside world, four banks in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development have sponsored the Chris Aire's 'Hollywood Glamour Collection Nigeria's Pride -Nigerian Gold and Gemstones.

The banks are Diamond Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc and First City Monument Bank Plc.

A statement on Wednesday said Aire, a Jewelry designer, used the epoch making event to unveil a new limited-edition collection of Nigerian gold and gemstone jewelry at an exclusive christened the 'Hollywood Glamour Collection,' which was inspired by the concept of bringing Nigerian jewels to the world consciousness.

In her welcome address, Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke, described the event as a new wave of Nigeria's global recognition on the world map as an emerging high profile supply market for its gemstones.
