Senate President To Announce Ministers Tuesday As Udoma, Amaechi, Ngige, Fashola Others Make List

SAN FRANCISCO, September 30, (THEWILL) – Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki will unveil the names of ministerial nominees sent to him late Wednesday evening by President Muhammadu Buhari, his spokesman, Yusuph Olaniyonu said in a late night statement same day.

“The list was submitted in a sealed envelope by Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legislative Matters (Senate).

“Dr. Saraki has, following the tradition of the Senate, decided to open the envelope and read out the names out to his colleagues on Tuesday, October 6, during the plenary sitting of the Upper legislative chamber,” the statement said.

Some of the nominees according to THEWILL checks include former Lagos State Governor, Raji Fashola; former Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi; former Rivers governor, Rotimi Amaechi; former Abia Governor, Ogbonnaya Onu; former Anambra governor, Chris Ngige; and former Senator from Akwa Ibom, Mr. Udo Udoma.
