Mallam-Obi Congratulates Edegware, Ugboma; Praises Onowakpo

The former Political Adviser to the immediate past Governor of Delta State Mr. Charles Mallam-Obi has congratulated Chief Mike Edegware and Mr. Eddy Ugboma on their successful Swearing-In as Secretary to the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue and Member Delta State Civil Service Commission respectively.

Mr Charles Mallam-Obi who expressed excitement at the successful screening of Barr. Mike Edegware by the State House of Assembly as well as the swearing-in by His Excellency Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa to commence duties immediately, stated that he was confident of Barr Mike Edegware's willingness and readiness to align with his predecessor in placing the people’s interest at the centre of the board programs.

Mr. Charles Mallam-Obi therefore encourages support for Barr Mike Edegware and every member of the newly swore-in board in recognition of their determination to continue to prove themselves as chips of the old block capable of consolidating on the recent achievements and in raising the tax profile to greater heights.

Similarly, Mr Charles Mallam-Obi has hailed the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue Hon. Thomas Onowakpo for the commendable strides recorded in the Revenue Commission, he specifically listed the unprecedented increase in the internally generated revenue of the state, the human and infrastructural structure put in place, and the wider coverage of the commission’s activities

"In this regard, I note with pride, the immense contributions of the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue ‘the digital Revenue chairman’, Mr Thomas Onowakpo for the decency and mature manner with which he ensured the rapid development in revenue collection across the State.”
