Aviareps, a global airline and tourism representation headquartered in Munich, Germany, has opened its office in Nigeria, making its second subsidiary on the African continent.

A statement by the company in Nigeria said after becoming established in Johannesburg, South Africa, the aviation and tourism firm had extended its network to Lagos where it has founded its 40th subsidiary worldwide.

According to the statement, the management expert for aviation and tourism represents more than 75 airlines and 85 tourism clients worldwide.

Besides its core businesses, passing sales and tourism marketing, the firm said it also engages in public relations, advertising, Information Technology solutions and financial services.

The General Manager, Aviareps Nigeria, Mr. Olugbenga Onitilo, said, 'As a conglomerate of subsidiaries, all fully-owned branch offices work as independent companies, but are connected with the headquarters in Germany through the centralized financial controlling and corporate standards of the company.
