Ahead of the governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa state, one of the aspirants, a Pastor, Mrs Tonye Apraela, says the party has not endorsed any aspirants contrary to speculations in some quarters.

It has been widely reported that some chieftains of the APC have either endorsed former governor of the state, Timipre Sylva or the new entrant into the party, Timi Alaibe, to pick the ticket.

Addressing newsmen when she returned her Nomination and Expression of Interest form yesterday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, Pastor Apraela cleared the air that the national leaders of APC has not endorsed anybody.

She said "Nobody has endorsed anybody. It is his followers that endorsed him. I wanted to make that correction but thank God I have the privilege now, the APC has not endorsed anybody, so, nobody should be afraid in Bayelsa state, we are all going out for the primaries."

On the chances of getting the APC ticket, the pastor said "It is hundred percent because I know that God has risen for Bayelsa when God arises no power, no man can stop what he want to do. The hearts of the people are in the hand of God and this particular era God is going to torch everyone to vote because I am right there to take care of the people and to torch their needs”.

She also spoke on her experience since she joined the race.

In her words "it has not been easy since I joined the race but with God all things are possible with little or no money but as we stepped out God has been making the provision, and it was a shocking news that we should come and get the form for free, which I did and today I have come to submit the form.

"I want to use this medium to encourage all Bayelsans to give me the ticket and I know that the sky is not even the limit for Bayelsa state that every man will see in the world that every resource that comes to the state will be used judiciously.

"As a woman, meeting the delegates some of them were saying, madam without money you cannot do anything but I want say that money is not everything. Let them just give people that are upright, people that have heart for the people to mann the state and if they do that, especially giving it to me everybody will be affected positively in Bayelsa state."

She assured that even if she does not secure the ticket after the primaries, she will remain loyal to the APC.
