Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon, has disclosed that actors will always say there is no money in Nollywood forgetting that the industry does not have a fixed price on any actor.

She stated that every actor has a different ways of negotiation and as such, everyone cannot be paid the same amount.

Doris explained that it all depends on the way the actors carry themselves that matters and they have the ability to accept or reject any amount paid to them.

“That is what most people will always come up with. But this industry is not about fixed price. We have our different ways of negotiating. It all depends on the way you carry yourself. If you want a complementary agreement, nobody will query you. If you want to do a job and collect your money, that is also fine. This is not a salaried job that anybody will sack you or tell you he won't pay you at the end of the month. If they pay them so fantastically well in the English movie industry, most of them wouldn't have gone into producing movies as well. It is about choice,” she told Newswatch.
