Concerned Niger Delta Youths Commend New Governors

By Concerned Niger Delta Youths Initiative

The Concerned Niger Delta Youths Initiative commends the newly elected governors of the Niger Delta states for hitting the ground running soon after taking their oaths of office on May 29, 2015 despite obvious financial challenges.

It is a remarkable take-off considering that most of their counterparts in other parts of the country have remained cap-in-hand waiting for bail-outs from the federal government before they could commence governance in their various states.

The new governors of the Niger Delta states have by this initial and bold step proven their preparedness to serve and deliver their campaign promises to their people.

We urge them to sustain their giant and enviable pace in governance and not to be distracted by the antics of detractors expect to continue to unleash good governance for the already excited masses of their states.

The Concerned Niger Delta Youths Initiative in the same light enjoins the people of the region to compliment the patriotic gesture of these governors with their total support to enable them accomplish more developments beyond their campaign promises.

we equally congratulate the newly appointed Group Managing Director of the NNPC who is a son of the Niger Delta, believing that he would make the south south and Nigeria proud by turning around the NNPC to be more effective and productive for the good of thr country.

We also thank and commend President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing one of our own as the GMD of the NNPC,his recent steps to clear some of the outstanding amnesty beneficiarie monthly stipends while embarking on his promised re-organization of the program as well as for his directive to continue the processes leading to the clean-up of the Ogoniland from where the Jonathan administration stopped.
