​Islamic Singer, Omotayebi Reaffirms Supremacy....As notable Entertainers Shines At City People Awards 2015

Alhaja Aminat Babalola-Balogun popularly known as Omotayebi, who recently emerged as Amira –woman leader– of Islamic Musician Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter; has reaffirmed her supremacy as the best female Islamic singer of the year 2015 at the just concluded City people entertainment Award, held on 16, Sunday 2015 at the Time-Square event place; Ikeja, Lagos.

The awards witnessed the attendance of popular figures in the entertainment industry likes of Olu Jacob and wife, M.I Abaga, Femi Adebayo, Oge Okoye, Odunlade Adekola, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Iyabo Ojo, Victor Olaitan, Lil kesh, Praiz, Rukayat Gawat, Madam Kofo, Juliet Ibrahim, and many others.

Fasting raising Yoruba movie director, Okiki Afolayan won the gong for the ‘Most Promising Director’ and Mavin Records act; Reekado Banks won the ‘Most Promising Act’ while label mate, Don Jazzy was awarded a ‘Special Recognition Award’ for his remarkable contributions towards the growth of Entertainment Industry in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the delectable actress, Moji Olaiya; also won the ‘Best Supporting Actress of the Year’ for the second time in the make-believing world, while Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo and other Nollywood stars won in their various categories.

The 2014 Yoruba Music and Films Awards; YOMAFA, best Islamic Female Singer; Omotayebi, recently released an album titled ESAN, which was marketed by Okiki films and music productions.
