Great Books From Sam Ohuabunwa At 65
The Sam Ohuabunwa Foundation for Economic Empowerment (SOFEE) announces a series of nationwide literary outreaches in honour of Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa as he clocks 65 on Sunday, 16th August, 2015.
The outreaches will hold from 17th to 20th August, 2015 in Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Port Harcourt respectively; featuring the launch of his two new books: The Port Harcourt Volunteer–Experiences of a Young Combatant in the Nigeria-Biafra War, and Sam Ohuabunwa's Paradigm–Thoughts on Contemporary National Issues, as well as the reissue of three earlier titles.

An accomplished pharmacist, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa is the Founding Chairman/CEO of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc. He was CEO, Pfizer West Africa; Pioneer Chairman, West African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (WAPMA), Chairman, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Chairman, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Ikeja Branch; President, Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA), Chairman, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMG-MAN), and President, Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC).
He was a member of the Presidential Advisory Committee (PAC) and Presidential Steering Committee on Global Economic Crisis. He is Fellow, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), and Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), as well as Honorary Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Ohuabunwa is a Knight of St. Christopher (KSC) of the Anglican Communion and national director of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International, whose inputs to national development have earned him the enviable honours of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) and Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR), among others.
A prolific writer and author of many books, including best-selling Economic Empowerment for God’s People, he is mostly described as a nation builder, entrepreneur, lay minister, social worker, and international consultant.
