The Nigeria Police have recovered in  Enugu, two babies that were stolen by a 25-year-old woman in Gboko, Benue state.

The lady is a known personality in Adekaa area in Gboko, and was arrested by the police while trying to sell her sibling's two-year-old son in Enugu after she sold her one-month old baby.

The lady according to reports, had claimed her baby had died. But, what broke the camel's back was when she returned home to steal and take her sister's son to Enugu with the intention of selling him.

She ran out of luck, as she was arrested in the process.

A close source who confirmed the incident said: “Mngu took her baby before it was named and was away for sometime and only came back later to inform the family that the child had died.

“If she had not been caught in an attempt to sell her sister's son, we wouldn't have known that she sold her baby”.

It was further learnt that it was while trying to sell the sister's child that she was caught by men of the Enugu State command which conveyed her and her sister's son back to Gboko.

The cost at which she sold her baby and bargained to sell her sister's son could not be ascertained  as at the time of filing this report,  as she was still being detained by the Police in Gboko.Globalvillageextra
