Nollywood producer and director, Zeb Ejiro, has disclosed that the present crop of actors in the country today is after money and not passion for acting.

The veteran producer who is best known for hit movies like, Domitilla, Nneka The Pretty Serpent, Sakobi and many other movies, stated that the early actors like Saint Obi who slept with a live snake in the movie 'Sakobi' had passion and despite no modernized equipments, he and others still showed that commitment to deliver.

He stated that now before anybody especially the upcoming actors will accept any script, the first thing they will ask is 'how much are you paying.'

While giving himself thumbs up for a job well done in one of his memorable movies, 'Sakobi,' with popular TVC Entertainment Splash programme recently monitored by Nollywoodgists.com, Zeb pointed that he respected the movie more because of the storyline and the live snake that was used in it.

According to him, “The movie I will give myself thumbs up is 'Sakobi' because of the storyline and everything about the movie, considering the fact that it was shot when there was no modern equipment. Saint Obi had to lay on the same bed with a live Snake and when it was time for that scene, I was very far away. Although there was a mallam there to control the Snake and when we are ready to use it he brings it back.”
