TB JOSHUA SAW POLISH GOVERNMENTAL PLANE CRASH
The world watched in shock on Saturday 10th April as news unfolded that the Polish President, the First Lady, Chief of Army Staff, the Chairman of The Bank of Poland and many other prominent Government Ministers were killed when their plane crashed in Russia. The tragic irony lay in the fact that the 88-strong Polish state delegation including some Poland's most important military and civilian leaders met their death as they were flying to commemorate the Katyn Massacre which took place 70 years ago. However, this news though devastating to all, to some, did not come as such a surprise as renowned Nigerian Prophet, TB Joshua had prophesied about the event since the beginning of the year and explained his prophecy in the weeks leading up to the incident.
On Sunday Jan 17th, while reading the prophecy of the year in the live service transmitted on Emmanuel TV, TB Joshua prophesied saying that we should pray for the nation of Russia, that a certain thing will happen between Russia and one of her neighbours. He ended by saying that he would give more details in the months to come. On March 21st2010, TB Joshua shed more light on the prophecy saying that he saw a balloon full of people looking for a place to land. “I was in a vision and I saw where a balloon was full of people – a lot of people were inside the balloon. It just lost control in the air and the balloon was just looking for a place to land.” During the second service, the prophet explained more about the people he saw in the balloon. “Pray for this country because I'm seeing people that matter, government officials, they were inside the balloon. Something happened in the air. They are innocent souls.” The following week on March 28th 2010, just two weeks before the fatal crash, TB Joshua further prophesied saying that he saw the flag of a country being pulled down, mentioning that out of the two colours was white. “I'm seeing a flag being brought down. Which country? I'm seeing a flag – one, two – white. Everybody should pray for this nation, for redemption.”
The Russian-built Tupolev Tu-154 carrying the Polish President, and numerous Government officials went down some 1.5km from Smolensk airport in thick fog. The plane reportedly struck trees as it approached the airport and caught fire. Reports state that pilot error has been blamed for the tragedy after it emerged that he turned down the opportunity to land at an alternative runway in thick fog. Witnesses said the pilot made three or four attempts to land before crashing into woodland nearby. According to reports, the pilot accelerated as the plane came in to land and at that point lost contact with air traffic control. Indeed, the plane which was full of people truly lost control in the air and was looking for a place to land just as the prophet said.
As news of the tragedy spread, Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared a week of national mourning and the national flag was lowered to half-staff at the presidential palace, where people gathered to lay flowers and light candles. It may truly be that we have a prophet in our mist.

On Sunday 11thApril, Emmanuel TV viewers from around the world joined TB Joshua and those present in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Auditorium as they held two minutes silence in honour of the polish tragedy and prayed for the nation of Poland, the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, that God would give them the grace to bear the loss.
