By Jerry Needam

The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Bro Felix Obuah has charged corporate organizations doing business in the State to support Governor Nyesom Wike in his desire for a clean and healthy State as well as returning Port Harcourt to its garden city status.

Bro Obuah gave the charge today during a courtesy call on him by a team of experts and development partners from Environf Bioenergy Company Limited, led by its Director, Research, Planning and Policy Development, Ogeh Walson.

He assured them that the State Governor, Nyesom Wike will deliver on his promise to keep Port Harcourt, the State Capital and its environs clean.

The Sole Administrator, while receiving a report presented to him by the group, promised to carefully study it and report to the Governor accordingly, as it borders on how the Rivers State Waste Management Agency can have a working relationship with them as development partners.

In his speech, the Company’s Director, Research, Planning and Policy Development, Mr Ogeh Walson, said they needed to form a strategic working alliance with the Rivers State Waste Management Agency in the conversion of waste as source of energy, a concept for the Port Harcourt City Waste to Energy for Rural Electrification-Independent Power Project.
