Terrorist attacks in France, Kuwait, Tunisia and Somalia (Statement by Foreign Minister Kishida)

TOKYO, Japan, June 30, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- 1. We are profoundly shocked and outraged by the large number of deaths and injuries caused by the terrorist attacks on June 26th in France, Kuwait, Tunisia and Somalia. We express our sincere condolences to the victims and their families.

2. Terrorism cannot be justified for any reason. Japan strongly condemns these atrocious acts of terrorism which indiscriminately targeted innocent people. Japan also expresses its solidarity with the Government of the Republic of France, State of Kuwait, Republic of Tunisia, and Federal Republic of Somalia, which were deeply shocked by these incidents, the Republic of Burundi whose nationals were victimized, and their respective citizens.
