Minister Kurz condemns terrorist attack in Tunisia / Ministry for Foreign Affairs supports Austrians in Sousse; The battle against Jihadism has to be carried on determinately

VIENNA, Austria, June 30, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz was shocked by the terrorist attack in Tunisia and calls for a decisive stance against Jihadism: “I condemn this cowardly act of barbarism. Our condolences go to the families and friends of the victims in these difficult times. The people of Austria stand together with the citizens who will not yield to the barbarism of Jihadism, be it in France, Tunisia or Kuwait.”

The Foreign Office provides every possible means of support to the Austrians in the region and is in permanent contact with the travel agencies. The Austrian Embassy in Tunis has sent an immediate response person to Sousse. The Austrian Honorary Consul is already on site. “We will do everything possible to provide assistance to the Austrians in Sousse”, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz closed.
