Any government of a country will be required to provide basic social amenities for her citizenry and the Ghanaian government has been called out by a Ghanaian-Nigerian actor.

Speaking recently, friend of Nollywood, Majid Michel expressed his earnest desire that the country fondly called 'Black Stars' would be transformed into a safe haven for everyone. He said that the government of the day may not be accountable to the people.

Taking time off his busy schedule, the actor spent moments at a nature's course to think about the recent disaster that swept the country into agony as lives and properties were lost in floods and fire accidents.

He said, " I was only thinking that if you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand."

In the past, Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, Van Vicker and Ghanaian celebrities had led series of protest around the country to establish their grievances at the John Dramani Mahama-led government of the day.
