Adamawa APC in fresh crisis over commissioners nomination

A fresh crisis is brewing in Adamawa APC as some Members have started protesting over the names of those nominated from their areas to be appointed as commissioners.

Already members of the APC in Numan and Fufore local government areas of Adamawa State have vowed to resist those nominated from their areas.

The members protested what the alleged as moves by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to nominate a former manager of Habib bank, one Mr. A. Dawari a as a commissioner from Fofure LG.

The APC members in the area kicked against the move by Atiku on condition that he is not APC member and did not contribute to the success of the party.

A local government executive of the party at Fufore who did not want his name in print told reporters in Yola, that the LG party executive had nominated the secretary of Bindow campaign organisation Hon Shuaibu Babas former Malabu administrator at fufure LG as a commissioner nominee.

He said former Vice President Atiku who kicked against Bindow gubernatorial ambition is making effort that the populace candidate should be dropped for his preferred candidate.

According to him Atiku gave Hon Shuaibu N11 million to work against Bindow but he declined the offer" Is it the way Bindow will reward loyalty" he quarrel

But the people of Numan constituency nominated Prince James Ngbale who was also a member of Bindow campaign organisation which name was said to have been substituted with a PDP member.

The political development is now creating crack in APC led government in the state as members of Bindow campaign organisation claimed that Governor Bindow is working contrary to their agreement reached.

According to them Governor Bindow promised them that those that work with him will be given appointment before outsiders will be considered.

Reacting to the development Governor Jibrilla Bindow said that he is not under influence of the Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to choose his commissioners.

The Governor who made his stand know to journalists in Yola, through his Director of Press Hon. Yohanna Mathias said the governor is not working on dictate of anybody and will not disappoint members of his campaign organisation.

According to him those that are reacting to speculation of commissioners nominees list from their areas are doing so base on speculation and should wait till official time names is been announced.
