When will this insurgency end?

Can't stop wondering, how my dear country "Nigeria" where less than 1% of its population will continually terrorize the country and make it ungovernable for the government. How did we get to this level in Nigeria? Were explosive bomb is now like a "Knock-out" that can be ignited by anyone in the country, were innocent bloods of Nigerians now flows each day like a river. So painful we've lost great future leaders, national investment, above all, we've lost peace as a Nation, we now leave in utmost fear as Nigerian citizens were the safety of our next step to be taken in Nigeria is not guaranteed as a result of these masked group called Boko Haram.

Up to this present time, Nigeria as always been a peaceful state, were we always enjoyed our right of movement without any limitation from any quarters but recently its as been the story for generations yet unborn, were even properties are not safe talk less of human lives. How have we gotten it so bad to the extent that bomb explosion is gradually becoming a way of life of Nigerians and insecurity an headache for the government to tackle. Where has Nigeria gotten it so wrong that the Nigerian military are been mock on a daily basis by this masked group (Boko Haram).

I constantly weep for my dear country "Nigeria" where we've allowed Political greed destroy our military, Religion weaken our military. Ethnicity destabilize our military and our leaders selfish interest weaken the morale of the Nigeria army. How do we want to conquer the Boko Haram that is united as a team with a vision to destabilize the peace of the land and a team of the Nigerian army who are not independent of their decision, who as constantly been Interfered upon in their operations by those in government. Without modern mechanism and equipment that can combat terrorism, how do we want to overcome these masked group without a viral and purposeful military men, I guess the answer is "NO".

My dear president sir, it's not about the relocation of the military headquarter to Borno that it's the solution in fighting Boko Haram is even one of the way in adding to the problem, we gradually making our seat of power vulnerable to be captured by this sect. Which is their major priority in capturing governmental power, this can be seen in the hoisting of their flag immediately in any territory they capture and trying to have a government for themselves there. We could also see how they forcefully try to capture the Yobe government house on December 2nd 2014. My president, if there is a major crises in south east or south west are we going to be continually relocating our Defense Headquarter temporarily to those region also, to combat the crises. As this is a tradition that you have started now sir.

My dear president, in fighting Boko Haram we don't need weapons, we don't need to spend billions or relocate our Defense Headquarter, we just need to preach the message of "One Nigeria, One Love". Our various elder statement in all their regions and ethnic group coupled with the traditional leaders, religious leaders, and youths. Women and political leaders and respected individual leaders needs to go on a purposeful in order to let their people understand that Nigeria is bigger than any region or ethnic national. A typical Yoruba man should be able to see an hausa man as his brother and be free to accommodate him without any bias mind. An Ibo man should be able to marry an Hausa man and even transact business with him. Our religious leaders should stop being used as political stooge by the politicians, they should see other faith and belief as there brothers and sisters.

Religion and ethnicity should not be the basis of electing public office holders but rather capability and integrity. If a Hausa man is the president today we should be ready to support him whole heartedly as a Nigerian not because he his from my tribe or we share the same faith believe and our leader political leaders fulfilling their political promises to the masses. Then Nigeria will be a better place to live-inn, when there is love in a country there is bound to be peace, growth and economic development but the absence of love in any country will definitely bring backwardness, political instability and economic backwardness and division in the. Country and division will always usher in societal inequalities into the country. Security is an everybody's issue it should not be left in the hands of the government alone, as citizen we have a role to play, which is to show love to your fellow Nigerian regardless of his/her religion or ethnicity .

Let's show love to our fellow Nigerians regardless of our ethnicity, religion, and political affiliation with true love among Nigerian we can conquer Boko Haram without killing a soul or spending a dime.
