APGA UK Hails Dr Victor Ike Oye and Gov Willie Obiano.
It was a resounding atmosphere in almost the whole cities of United Kingdom as the All Progressive Grand Alliance - APGA UK members scattered within the metropolis England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island of United Kingdom radiated in a thunderous and unprecedented gratitude over the peaceful conduct of APGA National convention recently at Women Development Centre Awka in Anambra State Nigeria.
The peaceful conduction of the convention and transition of office witnessed by Nigerians and across the boarder have brokered the prospect that lies ahead of APGA in political field of Nigeria Mr. Ezenwa C. Anazodo the APGA UK publicity secretary has said.
On this juncture, APGA UK wishes to congratulate the National chairman elect Dr. Victor K. Oye and the General Secretary Labaran Maku. As APGA in diaspora and with the mission to help build a party of intellectuals, a party that focuses in supporting our national Party in Nigeria to continue the excellent work already on the way for a modern progressive APGA based on fairness, respect, decency and openness. APGA UK will do all within her disposal in support of this new leadership. We extend our congratulations to all executive members elected in the Party ranging from State to National.
APGA UK have also observed critically the wonderful performances, excellent and tactical leadership style of Governor Willie M. Obiano. The man who turned Anambra around within days and months of assuming office. The entire Nigeria in diaspora especially in the United Kingdom has come to understand that they are still people in power who put their citizens first.
APGA leadership under Obiano has witnessed a tremendous growth with strong roots spanning in different state of Nigeria. People perception of APGA has been shifted from regional party to national and soon a vibrant next opposition party in Nigeria. APGA recorded victory in many state at the just concluded general election. Enough can't be said about this performing Governor.
APGA UK hails Gov. Obiano in a special way for his outstanding record in the just concluded general election where APGA swept the state assembly seats in Anambra State. And also under his watch a new APGA is born both in state and national.
We will not make the mistake of not thanking in a special way the men and women that fought doggedly and selflessly for APGA. APGA today may have been in merger which made APC but today we still have APGA to celebrate our identity.
We conclude by pledging our unadulterated support to the new National Chairman of APGA Dr. Victor Oye and Secretary Labaran Maku. Together we will build and make APGA the centre of attraction for all politicians.
