Ucj Lautech Gets New Executives

Just like it was over Nigeria, yesterday May 29, 2015; a wave of change blew in the Union of Campus Journalists, LAUTECH; the new members of Executives were elected.

In a free, fair, transparent and credible election, Zubair Ja’faar Alabi of the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department was elected the President of the Union having defeated his opponent in the keenly contested race. Other elected members of the Executives are: Ajiboye Adegoke (VP Admin), Fawole Israel (VP Editorial), Oniwinde Samuel (Gen. Sec.), Mikail Abdul Hameed (Fin. Sec.) and Busari Azeezat (PRO).

In his congratulations speech, the Electoral Chairman, Oluwatomilola Boyinde, urged the incoming Executives to walk in the footsteps of the outgoing Executives and try their best to promotes values of journalism and with their pen, bring sanity into the Students’ Union.
