With the conclusion of the 2015 general election, the Imo State Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Nwabueze Oguchienti has called on winners of the elections to face governance to bring dividend of democracy to their people.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Oguchienti noted that after politics comes governance, adding that now that election is over, nobody talks about politics but governance which will bring development to everybody irrespective of party affiliations.

He said the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has carried the people along in his four years of leadership because according to him, the Governor knows that politics is a process and not an event. He described Okorocha as the man who saw tomorrow by playing national politics instead of regional one, stressing that days of regional politics are over.

He called on defectors to remain steadfast and stand for what they believe in, adding that one party system is not a good one for the country. He noted that APC needs a strong opposition to check it. “ If a party coasts around without constructive criticisms, that party will crash, we need opposition to know where we are not doing well and then we improve”, he submitted.

Oguchienti urged losers to join the winners to move the country forward so that according to him, they can build a country/state so desired.
