Academic Recognition Ceremony: Saturday, June 20th, 2015

Enugu State Association of Washington DC wishes to formally recognize the academic efforts of children born to Enugu State indigenes that are living in the Washington DC metro area (DC, MD, VA). This Award Recognition Ceremony will honor school-age children that excelled in Academics in the Spring, 2015 semester, and recent high school graduates that will be heading off to college in Fall, 2015.

It is the mission of the President, Honorable Mr. Paul Aniugo, the executives, and members of the Enugu State Association Washington DC , to encourage, support and recognize our children by honoring their accomplishments in education, at the Enugu State Reunion Cookout on June 20th and awarding a small token for their efforts.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
In order for your child(ren) to be properly recognized, they will need to meet the following eligibility requirements:

· At least one parent must be an Enugu state indigene

· Must live in MD, DC, VA
· Attend elementary, middle or high school
· Received honor roll recognition in school for the Spring 2015 semester OR Graduated from high school in Spring, 2015 AND Received acceptance into university, to begin in Fall, 2015

SUBMISSION PROCESS:

· Your child(ren)'s Spring, 2015 honor roll certificate

· An acceptance letter to a university for Fall 2015

DEADLINE for submissions is June 1st 2015

CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE:
Please be informed that your documents will be treated as confidential. No certificates, letters or copies will be shared online or on social media, with the general public. The information received will only be used to confirm your child(ren)'s eligibility to participate in the Academic Recognition Ceremony.

The Academic Recognition Ceremony will occur during the 2015 Enugu State Reunion o June 20th. We encourage you to be present with your child on that day to receive their reward for their accomplishments. If you have any questions, please call Hon.
