To the utmost surprise of his fans, multi-talented artiste, Jesse Abaga aka Jesse Jagz, returned to his former label, Chocolate City, after a three-year hiatus.

Although he has added some new feat to his music career, Jesse, still feels threatened by the music of his label mates.

"Without a doubt, MI and Ice Prince are the two biggest artistes but we've been in competition long before Chocolate City. The both of them have always made me make better music and vice versa. It is a care of iron sharpening iron. I'm not here to outdo anyone but me. That's the only way to learn and teach at the same time.

Although, I didn't make a U- turn, it's always a straight path. I have Chocolate City and Jagznation. That's not a U- turn, that's winning.

I would consider Jagznation, Thy Nation Come, Royal Niger Company, Lyricist of the Year Award at the HipHop World Awards to mention but a few, as some achievements I made during my time away from the label."Click:Fire Guts Otukpo Main Market, 120 Shops Burnt

My brother, MI, is now president . Everything changes with time. That is a constant in life.
He also talked about how his brother, MI, who is now the President of Cholocate city was instrumental to his return.

"Yes, MI was instrumental to my return. It took a while but we all saw the process through. MI and Ice Prince are my brothers, Audu Maikori is my uncle. We had been talking back and forth for a while."

About what fatherhood has done to him, Jesse, said, "fatherhood changes everything and my daughter is my friend. She's still in school and growing .She is already learning how to play the piano and I'm teaching her production."
