Rivers PDP Chairman Extends Olive Branch To Opponents

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter, Bro Felix Obuah wishes to thank the Rivers people across the State for overwhelmingly voting for the PDP in last Saturday’s Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.

Expressing his joy for the well deserved victory by the PDP through a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, the chairman said the victory is for the Rivers people who spoke through their votes.

He therefore enjoins all to team up with the Governor-elect, Chief Barr Nyesom Wike to chart a new and more prosperous future for the State.

Elections now over, all Rivers people should once again begin to see the State as one common constituency that must be collectively built for the overall welfare of our people, Bro Obuah remarked.

And for those that could not make it at the concluded polls at all levels, the PDP boss prayed all to take it in good faith, saying that elections are all about winning and losing sometimes.
