'benzema-pato Swap Impossible'

The agent of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has rubbished claims that his client is moving to Milan in exchange for Alexandre Pato.

Benzema has found it hard to adjust to life in Madrid after moving from Lyon last summer and many feel he might be sold at the end of this season.

Speaking to calciomercato.it, Benzema's agent, Karim Djaziri said, 'I have not read any of these rumours.

'The only thing I can say is that Karim is very happy at Real Madrid.

'I have not heard anything about this and I don't usually pay attention to transfer rumours.

'I want to underline that Benzema is happy where he is,' Djaziri concluded.

Pato got Madrid's attention when he scored twice in Milan's 3-2 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu in October.

Meanwhile, Milan is apparently keen to sign Le Mans midfielder Herold Goulon who has been compared with Patrick Vieira.

The talented 21-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and would provide Massimo Ambrosini and Rino Gattuso with greater competition.

It remains to be seen what Milan's interest in Goulon means for Mathieu Flamini who could join Vieira at Manchester City this summer.
