Gov Dickson In Shock And Disbelief, As Assembly Man Passes On

Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson has expressed grief and sadness over the untimely death of the Legislator representing Ogbia constituency II, in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Obedient Emotor.

In a condolence message to the bereaved family, he stated that, he received the news of Hon. Emotor's demise with shock and disbelief, describing it as a painful loss to his family, the legislature and the entire State.

According to him, Late Emotor conducted legislative business with utmost diligence, passion, commitment and dedication, stressing that, he will be greatly missed by his constituents, colleagues in the State Assembly and all who knew him.

Governor Dickson expressed the hope that, his life of humility, kindness and selflessness, will remain a way of life for all those he has left behind as well as serve as a springboard upon which, to achieve their set goals in life and make meaningful contributions to societal growth and development.

He also prayed God Almighty to grant his soul eternal rest and the family, the strength and courage to bear the loss.
