Delta 2015: Chief Ayiri Emami, Victor Ochie, Chief Solomon Edoja, Urhobo Social Club Of Nigeria, Prince Collins Eselemor Endorses Emerhor, Urge Deltans To Vote En-Mass For Apc On April 11.

By FRED OGHENESIVBE

Barely three days to 2015 governorship elections in Delta State, powerful and heavyweight politicians took bold steps to endorse the most qualified candidate for the office of Delta State Governor, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor (OON) of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

In a full page advertorial placed by Chief Ayiri Emami (The Akulagba of Itsekiri Kingdom), the astute and highly consolidated politician told the authorities of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that he was done with the party, adding that his 16 years romance with PDP at both national, state, Local Government and Ward levels crumbled.

He categorically informed PDP that his (Ayiri) political structures has been collapsed into the APC so as to ensure the landslide victory of Olorogun Emerhor as the fourth democratically elected Governor of Delta State on April 11.

Emami lamented the unfavourable political purging and wind of CHANGE currently blowing across the ruling party in favour of the APC and expressed his absolute displeasure in the ways and manner the party ruled the country for 16 years.

Ayiri urged the good people of Delta State, particularly the Itsekiri ethnic groups across the state to cast their precious votes for the APC and its governorship candidate, Olorogun Otega Emerhor, pointing out that PDP has become a political lame-duck as a result of its anti-people socio-economic policies and highly distasteful internal political somersault.

A stakeholders meeting was held yesterday the 8th day of April at the country home of Chief Ayiri to effectively strategize for Saturday's gubernatorial election in Delta State. Various political pressure groups from the 25 local government areas of the state came in hundreds of buses chanting 'O'TEGA NA HIM WE WANT OOOO' an expression of the die-hard stance of Deltans to elect Emerhor on Saturday.

In the same vein, an illustrious son and political leader of the Ijaw Nation and Grand Patron of Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC), Prince Collins Eselemor said Ijaws of Delta South Senatorial District of Delta State have now resolved to collapse all partisan structures in Ijaw Nation to support Emerhor on Saturday so as to emerge as the fourth democratically elected executive Governor of the State.

Also, Anioma Nation most popular political Juggernaut, Engr. Victor Ochie and his group as well as political associates earlier in the week joined political forces together to ensure that Olorogun Emerhor, the APC candidate emerges as the winner of the 2015 governorship elections in the State.

Rt Hon. Ochie described Emerhor as a perfect gentleman who rose from the scratch through hard-work and self discipline to the pinnacle of his carrier as an international recognized insurance and financial expert and asserted that Delta State will surely witness a superb turn-around socio-economic remodeling within the first two years of the Emerhor's administration in the State.

Chief Solomon Edoja and Chief Ben Gold Oguigo of Ethiope East LGA have also mobilized the good people of their LGA to vote en-mass for the APC and its Gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun Emerhor.

Edojah who spoke to newsmen said Deltans cannot afford to be in opposition especially at critical time in our nation's political history where General Buhari known for his zero-tolerance on corruption is about to take charge of the affairs of the nation.

The Urhobo Social Club of Nigeria, known as the mega-force of all pressure groups and development unions in Urhobo Nation, yesterday in an advertorial in the Vanguard Newspaper urged sons and daughters of Urhobo Ethnic Nationalities to resist the temptation of either voting for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and Chief Great Ogboru, adding that both candidates do not represent the interest of the Urhobo Nation. The group said the Urhobos total votes should be delivered to the APC and its governorship candidate, Olorogun Otega Emerhor.

The Urhobo Social Club's advertorial signed by key executives of the Union is to the effect that the decision of the UPU arm of Chief Joe Omene had gone astray and became insensitive to the yearnings and aspirations of the Urhobo Nation, especially when the faction group tried to re-work the basic ingredients of Uvwiamuge Declaration by smuggling Chief Ogboru and the Labour Party into the project through the back door.

The USC therefore directed that all eligible voters especially those with the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) should vote for the APC and Olorogun Emerhor on Saturday without fear of intimidation.

It is now obvious that the APC which complied with the requirement of the Uvwiamuge Declaration is now the sole beneficiary of the Urhobo Votes on Saturday.

When contacted over recent endorsements and decamping of thousands of both PDP and Labour Party members to the APC, Director of Media & Political Communication of Otega4Governor Campaign Organization, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe said ' Urhobo Nation has proved to the entire world that they are people of integrity and rare moral pedigree. The Urhobo Nation is back on course and we are now united more than ever before. Great Ogoru is now on his own, fighting without weapons of political warfare.

'Chief Ogboru has been rejected by the Urhobo Nation as can be seen from the actions and inaction of the 24 kings in our Kingdom, the Urhobo Social Club, our brothers and sisters in the Ijaw, Itsekiri Nations as well as super powers and powerful political pressure groups in Delta North. It is overwhelming

'His Excellency, Olorogun Emerhor is cruising at a higher altitude, far and above the political skies of Ogboru and Okowa. The coast is now very clear that my Principal will emerge as the fourth democratically elected Governor of Delta State, on Saturday April 11.
